And Held Style Show The Future I-lomemakers of America kept very busy throughout the year with various money-making pro- jects and serving banquets. The F.H.A. money-mak- ing projects for this year were a cake raffle and its annual Valentine Dance. The theme was Lover's Fantasy. The King and Queen for that evening were Bill Pollock and Connie Cilgenbach. The F.H.A. also had a candy raffle around Easter time for To Save the Children. F.H.A. served the Phys-Ed Clinic, Soil and Water Conservation Banquet, Extension-4-H Recognition Banquet, F.F.A. Banquet and Athletic Banquet. On May 19, the F.H.A. presented a style show for an assembly. The theme was Which Way America. The adviser, Mrs. McGee, our chapter mothers, Mrs. Betty Bolton, Mrs. .lean Long, and Mrs. Jane Engel, and our honorary member, Mrs. Betty Cilgenbach were presented rose corsages. Four members also received their junior degrees. We were also host to the county F.H.A. meeting. The F.H.A. President, Diane Boerger, was our guest speaker. On June 5, the F.H.A. toured Campbell's Soup Factory, Spangler's Candy Factory, and Sandler's Furniture Factory.
