LAST ILL AND TESTAM N State of North Carolina County of Lincoln City of Lincolnton We, the Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred and Forty-five, of Lincolnton High School, afore- said state and county, being of sound mind and in full possession of our faculties do hereby make, declare and publish this document as our last will and testament. We, having gone the last miles with our teachers and friends, now desire to dispose of our rights and privileges in the following manner, viz: ARTICLE I , With Mr. F. D. Kiser we leave a torch by which he may lead the underclassmen to the top, and we hope he succeeds. ARTICLE II To the Underclassmen we bequeath Our ability to have school dances. Our school spirit. Our love for the teachers. ARTICLE III INDIVIDUAL BEQUESTS I, Dewey Abernethy, will my seat in algebra to Steve Gabriel and hope he gets more out of the back of the book than I have. I. W. A. I, Lizzie Belle Beaver, do hereby throw the whole works to my sister, Gladys Beaver. I. I, Lavinia Burris, will and bequeath my studying ability in government to Peggy Harvey and hope she can learn more than I did. I, Wilhelmina Reynolds, will to Betty Dellinger my basketball suit-no. 12. I, Peggy Martin Rhodes, will my giggles to Jane Grigg and hope they don't get her into as much trouble as mine did. I. Virginia Shuford, will my grades on geometry to Jack Michael. I, Betha Houser, will Bill Hoover my government book hoping he has a better teacher than I had. I, Faye Houser, will my seat in Mrs. Ramsaur's English class to Faye Canipe. I, Betty Hovis, do hereby will my position on the basketball team to Betty Beattie hoping she will not make as many fouls as I. I, Donald Hovis, will my ability to pass chemistry to Marshall Ramseur. I, Bobbie Jean Hoyle, will my place in Miss Rose-man's classes to Jeanette Lynch, hoping she will have as good a time as I have. We, Garland Hudspeth and John Weaver, hereby will our ability to work algebra to our future families.
