IM W EX«MENOI£ Is Rewarded Senior Honors Day rewards Excellence. This year This year top honors went to twin sister Frieda and Teresa Kammerman. Each department chairman presented an award to the top student in that area. There were many awards for attendance and student council representation. Mr. Kane of the Guidance Department and his committee put together a tasteful and rewarding program where Excellence was the Key Word. 28 HONORS ASSEMBLY

Traditionally Home Economics has been thought of as the classes which teach you to cook and to sew. No! my firned that isn’t necessarily true. The 1970’s look adds new demensions for example MEN that's right the males of Lincoln West are part of a Batchelor Living course with Mrs. Day's careful guidance they learn to cook and sew, among other things. Under the directions of Mrs. Picard there is a work study program called CHEChere students earn and learn infields related to the food industry.
