Lincoln-Way's Guidance Department constantly strives to help each student attain his maximum intellectual and social development. Members ot the statt, under the direction of Alice Gor- man, strive to help a student learn more about what opportunities await him after graduation, to acquaint students with college entrance requirements, finances and scholarships available. The wide testing program conducted by the Guidance Department provides data which will help guide the student in determining his abilities and potential for various careers. Hunter Chapman,Superintendent, Donald D'Amica,Assistant Principal. Not present when picture was taken: Kevin McGivern, chairman Social Studies department, Torn Gustafson, Director Audio Visual department, Henry Meier, chairman Foreign Lang- uage department, Miss Mary Castle, Director of Publications. The bi-weekly meetings of the Adminstrative Executive Council bring together the heads of departments, the administrative assistants and the Superintendent, Mr.Chapman. Duringtheir meetings andthroughout the year the members of the council work together in an attempt to formulate the best co-ordinated educational program possible in all divisions. Serious problems which may occur among the faculty and those involving the student body come to their consideration. The council serves as a director in extra-curricular activities such as special field trips, assemblies, parties. An efficient working school led by the wisdom of these men and women, capable ofmeeting arising problems, is provided by the influence of the Administrative Council.
