Some of our classmates have had to leave their college careers to serve their country; others who have paid the debt have already returned to this collection of buildings which is called Lincoln University. These buildings, old and new, pro- vide a feeling of security and a stationary influence whereby the student can command an ordered daily life from the confusion of the unknown. Here, searching for the comfort of solid, meaningful life, the student has only to look upon the buildings and the world takes form and has aim and end. The 1957 Lion has chosen the campus buildings as o theme because within them are the wisdom of the ages, the key to the future, and the plans to be fulfilled.
