The number of young people in Lincoln and Sudbury has shot upward in the last few years. Naturally, with growing numbers of young people, more space and equipment are needed to educate them, and these cost money. Since the two towns could not afford a really fine high school separately, the citizens, having a common problem, met and formed a single school district, and the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School was built. Regional,'' which has become one ofthe really fine public high schools in Massachusetts, is certainly an excellent example of what can be accomplished when two towns work together. We, the graduating class of 1959, have been at Regional'' during its first years of existence and have seen and helped it grow. Before we leave, we wish to express our deep appreciation and thanks by dedicating this yearbook to the people who made this school pos- sible - the townspeople of Lincoln and Sudbury. : ss ce Oe) by Sue SSA GALE.
