SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Judith Fredey- Treasurer Charles Styron-President Dorothy Farrell-Secretary Douglas Donaldson-Vice President In many ways our class has been a great experiment. A very short time ago we were two entirely separate groups, yet, in a period of four years we have successfully com- bined into one. No longer do we make distinctions between our fellow classmates on the basis of where they live. Aside from receiving an education and participating in many activities, we have had the additional opportunity of growing socially. We have reached the point where we can look at each other as individuals. We can disregard the superficial differences we find between ourselves and others and can enjoy each other as individual people. I feel that this, perhaps, is one of the greatest benefits we have gained during our high school career, As each of you leaves this school, try not to forget what you have learned here. Keep in mind that people are first of all individuals, but that the interests we have in common will never be outweighed by our differences. If you have learned this in eighteen years, you know more than most people learn in a lifetime. Charles Styron Class President 10
