XValter, Emphasizing a well-rounded sports program, the year's activities have included hockey, speetlball, arch4 ery, tennis, basketball, modern dancing. badminton, volleyball, softball, and lacrosse. ln the fall, class and varsity hockey teams were se- lected. During the season, much enthusiasm was shown and many participated in the games. In October, the Upper School attended a Four- School Play Day at House-in-the-Pines, where we en- joyed hockey, badminton, and tennis. In October. also, the hockey team went to Concord, to participate in an All-Boston School Play Day. ln December. the basketball season opened. Inter- class games, Green vs. White, and Senior vs. Faculty games were played. The Varsity played their tradi- tional games with Bancroft and Pembroke Freshmen. In May, our Annual Field Day brought our year to a close. Awards were given for participation on teams, and next years olhcers were installed.
