The Flamingo Sw1m Club 1S somewhat of a new club in Lmcoln Park High It was organized about two years ago The first performance given by the club was a synchro mzed swlmming demonstration Last year they gave their first show It in the Flammgos swam to hit songs from famous Broadway muci cals In 1958 the club gave a show to the theme of DISJOCKIBS theme songs months of February, March, and April b cause they usually give their show around May The rehearsing for, and the giving of shows 1sn t the only functions of the club They also go to see swim shows at other schools and last year they were asked to give a perform ance in a show at the American Turners This winter the club sold candy and used their pro fits for a Skl weekend There are 24 girls in the club Jan Roselle 1S their manager and Miss Penny Boussoulass is their instructor and sponsor ' 'a The club is especially active during the ., e-
