Boys' Senior Tennis Club Fred Beck, B-9, tops the Boys' Senior Tennis Club at Lincoln with Dale Williams second and Bill Htndererlhird. Under the di- rection of Coach Lendon Scott this club meets every Friday. I The club lost a tournament to Santa Barbara but redeemed themselves by defeating Emer- son. Wendy Machamer, Carol Cris- ler, Barbara Moody and Molly Mclntire are the captains of the teams that play round robin tournaments each Monday after- noon. Wendy Machamer's team cap- tured iirst place honors in volley- ball with Carol Crisler's team .taking a close second. The soft- ball -'tournament proved to be quite a thriller, too. Iudy Dodge, Anette Bologna and Ioan Dearth are the other team captains.

The main purpose oi the Girls' Iunior Tennis Club, sponsored by Mrs. Carruthers, is to encourage ten- nis with beginners so that they ev- entually will be on the senior ladder. The club meets every other Tuesday and one match must be played with- in that time or the player qoes to the bottom oi the ladder. The Senior Tennis Club, sponsored by Miss Lecklider, meets weekly during the semester to plan and play matches with other schools. Among their projects for the semester was their playing the boys' Senior Tennis Club. Their top players-Bet ty Werner, Sheila Boehm, Wendy Machamer.
