Q 'N the tix ll tk ll The power of the A-9 team was supplied by these three burly line- men. They are, from left to right: Tom Marsiglia, Don Cope and Rick Michel. Marsiglia was strong on of- fense and defense. Cope and Michel were stalwart blockers. Cope's cen- tering wcs one of the main reasons the A-9 attack was so successful. X g The speed of the A-9's depended on these three fine pass snaggera. They are, from left to right: Willy Holguin, Iohn Griffiths, and Iohn Carmack. Holguin and Carmaclc were ends and Griffiths played wing- back. It was Holguin who scored the touchdown and Griffiths who scored the conversionin the A9-B9 game. Carmack's defensive play gave the B9's catfits throughout the whole game. ta I I The precision of the A-94 team depended on these three backs who were one of the principal reasons why the A-9 offensive attack worked so well. They are, from left to right: George I-lughley. Lee Gross- cup, and Bill Howard. Hughley and Howard were fine blockers and pass receivers. Between them, they caught three of the eight passes attempted by the A-9's. Grosscup completed 6 out of 8 passes for 125 yards and 7 points.

This was the only perform- ance of the cheer-leaders, who were selected from 23 contestants by popular choice.
