M z A LPHABET SON ' Honor Scholarship A day's outing to a radio studio and seeing The Son's of the Pioneers program proved interesting to Honor Scholarship Club sponsored by Mrs. Haney. Ianie Zwicker, president, heads this enthusiastic group Whose members help in booths at nutrition, preside over the study halls and open locker. Roger Ferguson is vice-president and Barbara Moody, secretary-treasurer. Library Club Urlder the direction of Mrs. Locaty and Mrs. McElroy and Ianice Weaver, its president, the Library Club assists in keeping our library in order and our books in their proper places. They also . file cards and check books in and out. And much to the distaste of some guilty students, they deliver overdue book notices. - 00 5 I

Mu Office Workers Leila Martindale, Don Gross, Chuck Rhodes, Martha Iacobs, Shirley Har- mon, Georgia Keller, and Diane Clough have office one period a day which they may count as a regular class. They deliver bulletins ,run errands and help Mrs, McDermot in the Attendance Office. ff! H1 Cafeteria Mountains of food, plates covered with luscious food sending off savory aromas. Sounds like a wonderful dreamt Then-dishes! Stacks and racks of plates to be cleaned, all that tempt- ing food to be prepared and all those mounting dirty dishes to be washed. Anyhow, popular opinion holds that the food is Worth it. Custodicms For six years of his 26 years of service to the Santa Monica school system, Mr. Groff, better known to Lincoln students as Pop , has been at Lincoln. Mr. Michie and Robert Macy also have done their part. And now We have a new matron, Mrs. Wood. Other servers of Lincoln are Mr. Iohn McCauley and Mr. Frurn.

J t 'l,-' . v, .- .V Shutlorbugl Who hasn't wanted a camera at some time or another to pre- serve a happy memory, win a photo contest, or get a really candid shot for laughs? Popular indeed, is the boy or girl who sports a wallet crammed with snapshots of friends, family, school, and camp. Naturally, handling a camera correctly is the all-important thing to leam. The Shutterbugs, a really llvely bunch of camera fiends, leam proper care of their cameras, composition of photos, and some developing. The Shutterbugs, un- der the direction of Mr. Rose. meet every Thursday. Audiovisual Seeing is believing may not be completely true, but in the case of class films it means a lot. Many teachers agree that having films on a class subject brings more understanding than any textbook. To run the projec- tion machine. students must be skillfully trained, and that is the purpose of the Audiovisual Club. Under the organization of Mr. Leitch, students have been trained to handle the protection machines. X11 Bet! Math Clan This year Mr. Watt's B-9 Math class has handled all business attached to annual subscriptions. Keeping all the books straight was the important job of Diane Cough, chief collector. The other 31 members of the class were assigned a group of students from which they collect payments. Eva Bedo was the only member ot the class who averaged lO0fk in one group. Each math student was required to keep a subscription book and balance his account weekly. This project has been a very practical one. Students now realize how people in the .business world handle funds of money. They also have gained sales experience. And the B-9 math Class has shared in the work of producing the annual.
