At the Service Award Assembly each semester service club members in the A9 receive a certificate as a reward for her service to the school. Mrs. Reed is club sponsor. Boys' Service Club With Bill Howard as president and Mr. Bloom as advisor, the Boys' Service Club carries on its work of patrolling the halls to stop speed-happy pedestrians. Keeping boys on the grounds at noon, and maintain- ing order around school are other duties. .A D S0 WIT n ta . L Stage Crew Stage crew class which meets every sixth period under the direction of Miss Ahern, teach- es boys co-operation and how to follow direc- tions at a moment's notice. Fixing lights, painting and setting stage sets are the contributions of this class. Q fl 5 in X I-I 'I'l'lE SHOW Stage Costumes Designing and making costumes, making fashion plates, studying color and design, ap- plying make up for school productions are activities of the girls in Stage Costume class. This class prepares girls for such positions as fashion designers, fashion experts and buyers. 1, Lv. :ip g Senior Ushers Bob Sparks, Iim Adams, Rick Michel, Sandy Zeitlin, Raquel Sisson, lean Bates, Carol Crisler and Iohn Harrison Knot picturedlare members of the Senior Usher team. Mu Office Workers Leila Martindale, Don Gross, Chuck Rhodes, Martha Iacobs, Shirley Har- mon, Georgia Keller, and Diane Clough have office one period a day which they may count as a regular class. They deliver bulletins ,run errands and help Mrs, McDermot in the Attendance Office. ff! H1 Cafeteria Mountains of food, plates covered with luscious food sending off savory aromas. Sounds like a wonderful dreamt Then-dishes! Stacks and racks of plates to be cleaned, all that tempt- ing food to be prepared and all those mounting dirty dishes to be washed. Anyhow, popular opinion holds that the food is Worth it. Custodicms For six years of his 26 years of service to the Santa Monica school system, Mr. Groff, better known to Lincoln students as Pop , has been at Lincoln. Mr. Michie and Robert Macy also have done their part. And now We have a new matron, Mrs. Wood. Other servers of Lincoln are Mr. Iohn McCauley and Mr. Frurn.
