mm GOOD LUCK MR. HUNSICKER Someone once said, Art is a demonstration that the ordinary is extraordinary . The author must have had you in mind, Harold Hunsicker, because you have given something more than ordinary of your time, patience, and talent. Each and every holiday at Lincoln has become more meaningful because of your creative displays. Christmas programs, and senior class plays have been enhanced because of your talent and skill. Not only have you given years of service and loyalty to Lincoln High School, but you have given of yourself by showing a genuine interest in each and every student who has passed your way. May you have many happy years of retirement, and during those years remember that Lincoln students will not forget you. The classes of January and June 1968 arc happy and proud to dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Harold Hunsicker, teacher, artist, and friend. Harold Hunsicker plans out another of his main hall showcase displays. After adding his final personal touch to the display, Mr. Hunsicker locks up the showcase. 2

f Mr. Mancinl A Principal's Work Is Never Done Now, as high school graduates, you can look back at a phase in your life which required a period of study devoted to acquiring some of the basic knowledge and skills needed for living in our present civilization. Now, as adults, you feel as if you are sitting on top of the world looking out to a life different from anything you have known so far. We share this feeling with you and hope that your high school diploma will serve as a means to a good job and to further educational opportunities. No matter what lies ahead, remember that graduation is just another term for commencement. The time has come to think like adults. Remember the admonition made by our late President John F- Kennedy in his inauguration speech, Think not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. While you are sitting on top of the world, remember that it is a revolving world and void being cast into nothingness. Yes, there will be discouraging moments. However, these will be overshadowed by the many opportunities which exist in this space age. Keep your foot in the door which is now ajar to new vistas and capitalize on the many opportunities which will be yours. Plenty of paper work is a time-consuming part of Mr. Man-Disracli once wrote, The secret of success in cini's job. life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity 3
