Looking into the field of world affairs arc the members of the JCWA. 1st ROW, Sue Yanko, Pete Gockcl, Val Orloff, 2nd ROW, Carole Zander, Bob Sulzcr, Maria Polichuk, 3rd ROYV, Joan Ziemba, James Hruschak, Mike Jacewicz. JC WA Explores World Problems YCHR Increases World Understanding The members of the Junior Council on World Affairs gain insight into the problems of a troubled world. Through discussions and minor arguments, they exchange views among themselves. They share these opinions with other schools at gatherings such as the Mock NATO Conference held on riot prevention and control. The Model United Nations held this year at Lakewood Civic Auditorium concerned the Midcast crises. Youth Council members participate in intense discussion on human relations and how we can help to improve them. Visiting other schools, they share ideas and achievements. Each year two members Journey to Washington D.C. where they become acquainted with people from varied background and locations. Working out communications problems arc the members of the YCHR: 1st ROW, Toni Boroday, Darlene Durda, Kathy Skrut, Mary Petruska, Nina Brigadin. 2nd ROW, Wilber Fowler, Sandy Greenberg, Susan Dobranski, Linda Pack, Ruth Kite, and Gail Obcrst. 20
