Participation in all phases of school activities occupied the energies of the choir members. They sang their way into the All-City Senior High Choral Festival and succeeded in adding a pleasant note to numerous Lincoln assembly programs. Individual choir members also took part in the Cleveland Schools' Vocal Duet and Ensemble Contest, held in the spring. But the highlight for the minstrels came at Christmas time when they donned their robes to raise their voices in song throughout the neighborhood. This followed the traditional Christmas sing-along around the well. Robes for the singing Lincolnites were in the conventional red and white school colors.
