THE LINCOLNETTES' OBJECTIVE OF SERVING SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY is fulfilled by Colleen Conway, as she entertains a little visitor at the annual Christmas party for children in the community. For 70 girls at Lincoln, service is a word to live by. These girls, all Lincolnette members, work in the office, for teachers, or wherever they are needed to keep the school operating at peak efficiency. Under the direction of Mrs. Isabelle Smith, the Lincolnettes served as usherettes at plays, assemblies, and commencements; played hostess to little children at Christmas time; and worked to boost school spirit during the season. Officers who steered the Lincolnettes through a successful year included Pat Denney, president; Colleen Conway, recording secretary; Marlene Wells, corresponding secretary; and Kathy Coon, treasurer.
