FUTURE TEACHERS Serving as a stepping stone for a possible future in the teaching profession is one of Lincoln's most spirited clubs--the Future Teachers of America. Under the guidance of Advisor Mrs. Joyce Jerke, President Lydia Lazor, Vice-President Vera Terec, Secretary Donna Gibbons, Treasurer Pete Cockel, and Assistant Secretary Linda Wosienski, the group initiated a new tutoring program within neighboring elementary schools. F.T.A. members also viewed movies, discussed the merits of teaching with guest speakers, and exchanged student representatives with other local F.T.A. Chapters.
