Page 21 LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for us, the JANUARY CLASS of 1955, of the City of Cleveland, County of Cuyahoga, and State of Ohio, to make, publish, and declare this as our Last Will and Testament, being of sound state of mind, we do hereby revoke and annul any and all will or wills made by us heretofore: Item I. We hold this truth to be self-evident—That we are leaving Mr. Bryan and his faculty the satisfaction of knowing that we are going at last. Item II. To complete this satisfaction we submit, with the candid world as our witness, an apology to Miss Kitzerow and Mr. Zupan, our homeroom teachers, for that extra headache we so generously bestowed upon them. Item III. To the 12B Class we give the privilege of graduating after us. Item IV. The fly swatter of Ray Aceto is left to the next insect-hater of 120. Item V. He's big in height and very shy but Joe David is a real good guy, so to any boy who can fill his shoes, he leaves his football spikes and helmet, too. Item VI. Shy Natalie Herasymow leaves her braids to any girl that is willing to grow them as long and as thick. Item VII. To fellow scrubs that follow, Ronald Budney wills his left end of the bench. Item VIII. Ray Thomas leaves his fictitious name of George to anyone else who can keep it a secret as long as he has. Item IX. To any person who wants to get his hands full of ink, Jean Youngmann leaves her job of running the mimeograph machine in 308. She also leaves Mrs. Horne. Item X. There will be a vacant space in 108. Rita Mae Voytovich wills it to any person who enjoys silence. Item XI. A D.A. he has and proud of it, too. Louis Josie wills it to anyone, including girls, too. Item XII. To the secretary of the Senior Class of June, 1955, Joan Wencil leaves her used notebook and worn-down pencils. Oh, yes, she also bequeaths her sore writing hand and arm, too. Item XIII. The sewing machines in 101, the ones with the dripping oil, are willed by Kathy Jurccnko to anyone who can keep up with her record—almost an item a week. Item XIV. The thermometer and bottle of iodine arc left by JoAnn Hansinger to the next nurse's aid. Item XV. Andy Chopka bequeaths his cookie duster to the next promising Romeo. Item XVI. To a person that has the ambition to practice chemistry, Christ Koconis wills his test tubes and knack of making soap burn. Item XVII. RoseMarie Shuleva leaves the memory of the sparkler on her left hand to a girl that is dying for one. Item XVIII. Loretta Clift bequeaths her Southern accent to a future Southern belle. Item XIX. Nina Jurcenko leaves her pins, needles, and thread to the up-and-coming in Miss Daly's sewing class. Item XX. Bob Hochevar leaves his job os leg-man of the Publicity Committee to anyone who is long winded. Item XXI. To the A Cappella Choir of Lincoln High, JoAnn Rollo, Nancy Conigiio, and Mary Ann Dziubakowski bequeath their old beat up music sheets, and, of course, a few sour notes. Item XXII. To the June Class of 1955 Eugene Galaszewski wills his job as dues collector and Larry Gambino, assistant treasurer, his art as penny picker after him. Item XXIII. To the future Yale Team Captain, Margaret Sackinger wills to her all of the troubles of the team. Item XXIV. If it's red hair you want, Danny Magnani leaves his. The color is real and so is the hair. Item XXV. To any person indifferent to crutches, David Renftle wills his, which are still in good condition. Item XXVI. Name cards for sale is all you hear when you walk into room 306 during homeroom time. Item XXVII. Do you want to be a teacher? Well, Doris Vetrovsky leaves a vacant place in the F. T. A. for one who yearns to teach. Item XXVIII. If you are daring and like to have fun, Eugene Wowk is your model. A D.A. and that's not all, wavy hair makes him king of the ball. He really hates to go, but he leaves the head of hair to a person with nerve and gall. Item XXIX. Now here's an item of great importance: Walter Sodini leaves—but he olso takes — his red hot rod convertible to anyone with nerve to drive it as he did. Item XXX. To the future spelling champ, Janet Koblek bequeaths her unusual knack of unscrambling the alphabet and writing words. Item XXXI. Bill Koptis bequeaths his job on the Color Committee to any person who can take it. (Spots and all!) Item XXXII. Mike Kane surrenders his gavelpounding talents to someone who will be as successful as he has been. Item XXXIII. To future girl gym leaders Beverly Houston leaves to them the job of keeping their white suits clean. Item XXXIV. To any motorcycle enthusiast Jonathan Hauserman bequeaths to him his beautiful black and white leather jacket. Item XXV. If you like walking in the rain or plowing through the snow, James Franzak leaves his paper route to you. Item XXXVI. Norman Cushler leaves his parking space to any person with a car, first come, first served. Item XXXVII. Robert Halloran leaves his position as a Tollente to the next person willing to give up his study periods to serve the school. (And bother the 7B's!) Item XXVIII. To the school, Ed Dobzanski just leaves, but fakes a lot of friendship with him. Item XXXVIX. Dan Rocha and Richard Mallchok leave part of their football equipment to future Varsity players. The other part they have managed to escape with piece by piece. (Only kidding, fellas!) Item XL. Donna Prihoda leaves her ideas for becoming a fashion designer to all the day-dreamers that follow her. Item XU. Alma Mauro relinquishes her art of whistle blowing to the next promising senior gym leader. Item XLII. Pat Cregg hands over her sparkling smile to any discouraged students. Item XLIII. Frank Meszar bequeaths his spikes and glove to the next lucky guy. (If you can find him.) Item XLIV. Dave Eggert consigns his basketball uniform to the next size 38. Item XLV. Elaine Gresmuck leaves her knack of missing telephone poles. She also leaves Mr. Rutledge a few gray hairs. Item XLVI. Ronald Reinke leaves his art of unscrambling figures in bookeeping class. (Numbers, that is!) Item XLVII. JoAnn Kovalcik bequeaths her determination to do everything well to anyone who needs it. Item XLVIII. The memory of Wilma Douglas's friendly smile will remain long after she leaves. Item XUX. Ronald Jaeckel leaves behind his much used books. The ones with the turned corners. Item. L. To Mr. Persky we leave him once again his peace and quiet, but we really appreciated the help he has given us. Item LI. C., that the class of January 1955 was the best class ever to graduate from Lincoln High School. As we look into the office of the F.B.I., we see Robert R. Hochevar busily at work. We have heard the government security agency is planning to investigate the entire class. Let's look into the office where secretary JoAnn Kovalcik is at work. The F.B.I. has succeeded in forming a committee which will investigate the class. The committee members are: Jonathan Hauserman—Head checker of the C.T.S. Company. Louis Josie—President of the Crazy Wheel Motorcycle Company. Ray Thomas—Multimillionaire, and owner of the Sticky Plastic Company. Eugene Wowk—Head designer of the Snazzy Clothing Company. Dave Renftle, who has invented and perfected hydramatic crutches, is now doing o booming business. Nina Jurcenko is now giving a piano recital at Carnegie Hall. Ronald Jaeckel was recently made president of the Wagner Awning Company. Alma Mauro, top notch hair stylist, is making millions on her new creation, the Ubangi Boy hair cut. The rival teams of those outstanding women athletes, Beverly Houston and Margaret Sackinger will meet in the Arena to decide the tiddly winks championship. Natalie Herasymow renowned woman swimmer, is now attempting to swim the English Channel on her back. A live Oscar has just been given to Janet Koblek's cootie form for outstanding breeding. They have forwarded letters to their fellow graduates advising them of the time of their arrival. Let Donna, June, and Bruce fell about their trip. Upon arriving at the airport our tickets are taken at the gate by Pat Adamany. Before boarding the plane, Dave McNeilly, owner of the airport, tells us that Joan Kornowski, secretary at the Pay-As-You-Loan Company, is taking the same plane. Christine Wiencek, present president of the Pup-Bits Dog Food Company, was scheduled to make the same flight, but cancelled her reservation at the last minute, Dave tells us. As we board the plane we are greeted by the stewardess, Norma Glaesel, who, in turn, introduces us to the pilot. Bob Jones. At our first stop. New York City, we attend a Broadway play, House of Seven Tables in which the great actress, Jeannette Taylor, stars. Nina Wlasow and Anna Wlasow show us to our seats. At the hotel the head bell boy turns out to be Norman Foose, who tells June she is wanted at the main switchboard. Hello, says Roberto Keller, telephone operator. The phone call is from Gerald Harral, a banker, who heard we were in town. Our next stop is Washington, D. C. At the Capitol we see Senator Don Verlie talking to Congresswoman Virginia Weiberg. Standing nearby is the noted lobbyist, Don Maty, who represents the envelope lickers of the United States. As we tour the city, we meet Pat Morris, who is now a secretary in the Navy Department. Gail Schroeder works at the Bureau of Engraving as a money counter, Pat informs us. After crossing the coastal plain and arriving in Miami, Florida, we are greeted wholeheartedly by Bruce Cronicr, owner of the hotel. Brigitte Gegner hands us our mail which consists of letters and telegrams from all over the world, which read as follow: Dear Classmates, I'm lorry to writ you I won't be in town the day of your arrival. I will be vacationing in Afghanistan at thot time. (Lois Weiss is on hand for the show also.) On the beach we meet Dean Berry, the local beachcomber, who tells us that the guest singer for the evening is Charlene Dailey. Later we find out that Lydia Terkun, Roger Troyan, Joan Thomas, and Violet Lo-mako are also vacationing at the hotel. At Yadahoo, Texas, we are warned by the county sheriff, Ed Zurilla, to be on the lookout for two desperadoes wanted for stealing cattle from the Double Z Ranch. The owner. Bob Searle, shows us around the ranch where we see Joe Masula breaking a wild horse, and Michael Kess, roping a baby steer. Later an oil heir confessed to the crime, stating he had a phobia for black cows. Our trip across the Great Divide is very pleasant. Crossing the Rockies is an exciting experience. In California we enjoy the pleasant experience of visiting a movie studio. On the lot we see such celebrities as Margaret Ziss, assistant to Liberace, and Joan Malenich. They are just completing a movie called Dial M for Matrimony. They tell us that JoAnne Goszka is the makeup artist at the studio and at the moment is preparing Richard Kobly for his part in Bite the Dust. He is being interviewed by Ruthe Merecicky, the noted gossip columnist of the film world. She later tells us that Rino Del Zotto is to be given a screen test. Since Richard's dressing room has become quite crowded, we depart. We have heard so much about the famous Shirley Lazor Hospital that we can't resist the opportunity of visiting it. Upon entering this sanctuary we meet nurses Lenore Urbach and Felicia Bujakowski, who are discussing a rare operation over a cup of coffee. It seems that a man swallowed his false teeth while singing in the bathtub, and Dr. Roger Sunkle, the eminent surgeon, was quite baffled when the teeth started biting back. Arriving in Latin America we find such celebrities as John Gallo and his Latin Lovers playing the newest mambo hit, It Takes Two to Mambo. Other members of his band are Richard Kolesar and Eugene Kobisky. The singing star of the show is Mary Lou Havan-chak, who has just finished singing the popular Shiver, Twist, and Squirm. Walking down one of the main streets we come across the Mikoleski dance studio and peeping through the window we see Eleanore teaching the famous bullfighter, Salvadore Valle, how to jitterbug. His talent may come in handy some day when he's fighting the bull. Eleanore informs us that Pat Roth is very famous for manufacturing Mexican Jumping Beans and that Theresa Bicnchet races midget autos. The next day while visiting a coffee plantation we run into Joe Pero, who is now a coffee bean picker. He likes the fresh air and sunshine, but finds that coffee bean picking is a grind. After a calm trip across the Atlantic Ocean our airplane sets down at Skokimoto Airport in Skokiaan, Africa. We are met by our guide, Paul Schuller, who will take us and John Harrington, a well known hunter, into the jungle on a safari. We reach a cannibal village and there we meet Ray Kopack, who is selling meat tendcrizers to the head hunters. In the heart of the jungle we see Agatha Bonsignore, who is collecting flowers for Josephine Priev-er's flower shop. Helping to educate the natives are Dixie Shamblin, a missionary, and Gerry Gill, a teacher. All of a sudden we hear a gunshot and we look and see William Curran, Diane Flash, and Gerald Kaczor, who are on an expedition for the collection of jungle 39 CLASS PROPHECY—(Continued) beasts for the Gary Nicholas Zoo. Our guide also takes us to the Ken Ruper Mining Company. At this camp we come upon Bryan Sanders, o geologist, and Robert Winkler, an engineer for the company. We are seen off by Carol Montali, a United States reporter. At the Steve Katrenick airport, in Switzerland, we meet the United States Olympics Team. Among the members we find Tony De-Pierro, skier, Ted Budzik, and Joe Zychowski who are on the basketball team, and Diane Adams, swimmer. We are guests of Joe Gallo, coach of the track team. Joe has made reservations at Jerry Stempinski's night club, where we are entertained by Joe Latosky, comedian, and Frank Woyshville, the famous yodeler, noted for his glass shattering notes. Our host tells us that Andy Pctruzzi is in Switzerland. His job is to keep the mice busy eating holes in Swiss Cheese at the Richard Petrus cheese factory. We also find out that Jacquelyn Stary is at the head of the Saint Bernard rescue agency. She has rescued such people as Phil Emery, who fell asleep while tying his shoelace, and Ady Kampf, who caused an avalanche while trying to reach high C. In Germany we are greeted by Renate Schncidcreit, United States Ambassador to Germany. We are driven to our hotel in a V-2 Vogeswagon which is made by the John Kopniske Auto Company. At our hotel we see Marilyn Brooks, Arnold Stoessner, and Ray Sindyla, who are frankfurter experts altending a convention. At the moment they arc having a fervent discussion about the unusual length of frankfurters due to the m'ssing links. Covering this convention is Ray Tymchyshyn, well-known columnist. Also on hand are Mabel Roby, manager of the Grow-Slim Candy Company; Elene Bisch, originator cf the Bisch Sandwich; and Rolland Stone-breaker, just interested in food of any kind. Before leaving Germany we attend an American circus which is owned by Ken Robinson and supervised by Alice Coon. Some of the headliners of the circus are Frances Tolley, snake charmer, and Shirley Swingle, noted bare-back rider. Again at the airport, Sue-marie Hornacky tells us she is to be our stewardess for the last half of our trip. Our plane is forced down because of bad weather in a small town outside of Berlin. Touring the countryside is Dolores Reiman, who plans to write a book on the German people. With her is Loretta Solarz, head of a leading publishing company. Our next stop takes us to Paris, France, where we meet Richard Bobby, who is now a famous artist. At the moment he is displaying his work at the Louvre. We also meet Marilyn Molter, famous manufacturer of the exciting perfume. Petite Odeur. She has on exquisite line of equally delicate scents. Adding much to the appearance of women all over the world is Barbara Churlik, originator of the Peek-a-Boo look. While riding toward the airport, we notice an interesting restaurant, Toujours Savoreux, which is owned by Domenico Resse. We arrive in England just in time to see Fred Klima, famous author of Hypnotism and You, boarding an airplane for the States. Since everyone is trying to get his autograph, two bobbies are holding back the crowd. Fred has already lost his tie and specially made monogrammed handkerchief to some excessively eager spectators. At the Sip-lt-Teo Company we meet Mary Rose Cuffari, who is a teetotaler and a tea leaf reader. We also stop at the John Haworth Merchant Marine Company. While we are there, we notice a shipment cf kangeroos being sent to America. Looking more closely, we are quite startled to see a familiar face peeping out of one of the pouches. To our great surprise, it turns out to be Pauline Bowen, who tells us that she vas stranded and had to stow away. Since we have heard so much about the Paladium, we decide to spend our evening there. Dianne Kostya is the guest comedy star. Her fabulous impersonations of such animals as Harvey, Francis the mule, and Lassie have won her worldwide fame.
