Class Prophecy—con linn oil Back at the rocket ship once again, we're ready for the take off. We'll pass over the stadium and see how the Browns are doing under the direction of their coach. Bob Miller. Memorizing all the rules really paid off. Moving along, let's once again use our radar binoculars and turn them toward St. John's Hospital, where we can see Alice Mokris checking the surgical instruments after a successful (?) operation. Where's the sponge, Al? Speaking of nurses, Jackie Rook is said to be a successful country nurse in Southern Ohio. Quite a few of our classmates have left Cleveland to find their way in other cities and countries. We'll take a ride to New York first. I'll bet as v e ride along Fifth Avenue slowly, we'll see many Lincolnites. Surely enough, we see Phyllis Smith and June Douvris, famous Powers models, on their way to an assignment. There's Shirley Clarin with her usual notebook, only this time she's gathering juicy bits of news for her column in the Times. Turning on to Broadway, we can see a crowd of people standing in line for tickets to the hit musical, North Atlantic, starring Douglas Archibald. Let's take a closer look at the crowd and see if v e know anyone. Yes, of course, there's Beverly Wulff, president of the I. J. Wolf Fur Company. Way at the end of the line is Katherine Baltas. She's getting ready for her trip to Europe. The policeman, Richard Zielinski, is having trouble keeping the crowd in order. Well, shall we move along? How about crossing the Atlantic Ocean? We'll be able to see the many classmates who are now in Europe. The first stop is England where Diane Palcchka, world traveler, is visiting her pen-pal. Rocket line hostess, Phyllis Kreiner, is vocationing in France before returning to her job. After traveling all over the world with her art exhibit, Ethel Sodini is now in Italy, the birthplace of many famous artists. Making a quick change in course, we find ourselves in a dark jungle of Africa, where we see Earl Holt and Fred Hansen getting ready for one of their famed wild game hunts. In many of the well-known zoos you can see some of the animals they have caught. Only with a rocket such as this one could we change our course again and find ourselves miles from Africa in a few minutes. Here we are in the Ukraine. Just think, we might see the U. S. Am- bassadress to that country, Catherine Zuk. Why, yes, there she is entertaining the All-American Woman Baseball Player, Laura DePuy and her traveling companion, manager, and agent, Jeanette Peterson. Bet the girls are having fun. Before going back to the U. S. we'll stop in China and catch one of Ruth Carver's talks on her book entitled How To Be A Successful Cheerleader In Ten Easy Lessons. In no time at all, by means of crossing the Pacific Ocean, we find ourselves in the U. S. again. Our first stop is California. In the beautiful San Fernando Valley, we see the luxurious home of the famous character actress, Kay (Sarah Bernhardt) Clobaugh. There are quite a few musicians from Lincoln cut here. They're playing in the Hollywood Bowl now. Just take a look at the Hollywood Bowl's program. Booked for a week are Wilma Blunk and Clarence Krejci doing a trumpet duet. They'll probably do one of their many original numbers. Following them into the Bowl is pianist Don Bilski. He'll do selections from Tchaikovsky.

Class Prophecy By NATTALIE LAKOS and JOHN LECKWATCH Ah, the wonders of Science! Maybe we could get hold of one of those rocket ships and perhaps zoom our way into the future, soy, about the year 1978 and see what our class is doing. Hop in and we'll get started. This rocket certainly travels fast because here we are hovering over the modernized city of Cleveland. I guess we have Mayor Eugene Zadar to thank for the city's improvements. How attractive the streamlined structures appear! Leroy Toth was the architect for many of the modern buildings you see. Focusing our rodar binoculars on the remodeled Court House we can see Judge Phyllis Eggert trying to decide whether the defendant is guilty of trespassing. Oh, those Commercial Law days! Hovering in a corner and talking about the good old days at Lincoln are Mary Anne Kusnerik and Marion Bohovesky, the court stenographers. They take their dictation on supersonic stenotype machines these days. Let's move along now. What a striking lot of posters are seen announcing the Roller Derby coming to Joe Peters' Arena! Guess it's because of the feature star Speed Demon Ker (JoAnn to us). Do you hear that funny sound? It's the motor of our rocket. I guess the trip into the future was a little too much for it. Well, here's hoping we make a smooth landing at that Sunoco Station. Oh! I beg your pardon. With a closer look we can see that it is a Sucharyk (Frank) Station. Let's have Ron Wozniak, the rocket mechanic, take a look at it. While the rocket's being fixed, we can take a stroll down Euclid Avenue. It certainly looks different. There goes one of those jet propelled automobiles that made millions for Roland Walters and Edmund Sobolewski. Just look at the way Pat Mayer drives it. She was voted one of the ten best dressed women on planet Earth recently. Passing Arthur Murray's Dance Studio we hear music and a voice saying one, two, three, kick. Investigating we find Chuck Scott, dance instructor. Those three women coming toward us look familiar. Why, they're Mary Grossenbaugh, Marian Krause, and Susan Smyrak. They're on their way to meet their successful businessmen husbands for lunch. Girls, why not try the latest hair style? It won't take long if you stop at the Atomic Beauty Salon, right here on Euclid. Arlene Smith and Anna Mae Sasala are the owners. Just moke your appointment with their receptionist, Ruth Allen. As we walk along on Euclid we see other classmates. There's Ted Kaznoch, who has just won the title of World's Fastest Typist. Another classmate, Robert Strcdtbeck, is the owner of the most modern bowling alleys in the state of Ohio. Any of you fellows craving a little exercise? Then why not stop in for a good work out at Bill Arden's Gym? It's getting a little windy now. There are quite a few papers flying around. There's part of the fashion page of the Cleveland Press. Elaine Martinez is Editor of the Women's Page, you know. The Press has claimed another Lincolnite. Mary Mullins works there as a fashion illustrator. We'd better get back to the rocket ship. It should be fixed by now. Rather than walk back, let's take a cab. Here comes one now, so we won't have to wait. Well, look who's driving it . . . Shirley Faldtz, holder of the city's best driving record. Once inside we'd better hold on to our hats.

Class Pro phecy - - - continue!! If wc visit some of the movie studios we moy bump into make-up artist, Loretta Solary. She's worked on some of the most famous stars. If we had enough time we would be able to stop at the well-known Ciro's nightclub. It's now owned by Anthony Magnani. Marge Pawlak, famous TV singer, just finished a singing engagement there. On our way again we find ourselves over the state with the wide open spaces, Texas that is; we find the cattle ranch owned by Alex Stricharchuk and John Leckwatch. They were running up too many bills buying hides for their leather tooling business, so they thought they would grow their own. A quick turn and we find ourselves in Chicago. The department store, Marshall Fields, has claimed some of our classmates. Arlene Filous and Ethel Bondra are two of their fashion buyers. Joann Elias works there, too. She's head of their Complaint Department. Vasilike's Dress Shop just a few doors away is giving some of the dress companies stiff competition. Now where have we heard that name before? Why, of course, that's Bessie Tsonton, famous dressmaker. Maybe if we go to Chicago's Historical Society, we'll hear one of Professor Arthur Paul's lectures in American History. Now a short trip to the motor city, Detroit, where Marge Wasiloff has opened a driving school. In Battle Creek, not many projectile miles away, where so many of the breakfast foods are made, we find Carol Stafford. She writes singing commercials and especially likes writing in two-part harmony. Many of the boys have had successful careers in the service. The ones who remained in the service to become officers are James Rezobek, Mike Sekerak, Nick Metyk, and Melvin Timm. We've seen many changes on this trip. Let us make our last stop at our old Alma Mater, Lincoln, which has changed in outward appearance but not in our hearts. The rocket is acting up again, so we'd better call our trip to an end. The trip was fun, wasn't it? THE END.
