Sports With Mr. T Darrell Sizemore, you re supposed to Everyone has their own way of throwing a ball, catch the ball, not watch it fly byl Mark Babb just puts it to use in Intramurals. The Intramural program has been a big hit at Lincoln. It is an alternative sports program for the students who want something to do at lunch and are not already in that sport in school. Ray Muffaker and Calvin Anastasio fre- quent the scenes of Intramural volley ball and basketball in the old gym. Mr. Thomas, who oversees our program, tells us that the most fierce competi- tors are sophomore guys. For the past two years people have been gathering at the old gym, the football field, or the baseball field between 12:10 and 12:30. They have enjoyed such sports as basketball, football, volley ball, soccer, and softball. This program is a lot of fun and is an excel- lent way to burn off those lunchroom calories. Everyone should get in- volved. What goes up. must come down. So be patient. 21
