J$r 7 Jr ' z r ($0 e p £ e» P.E. and Health are closely related because they both teach us to take care of our bodies. P.E. is a required course this year. Why else do you think most students are taking it? Prom vol- leyball to tennis, all of these physically fit stu- dents thoroughly enjoy P.E. under the coaching of James Gregory. When asked what she enjoys most about this course, Janie Cosper replied, “I enjoy Coach Gregory's wonderful tests.” Of course some people aren't particularly inter- ested in this class. Shei- lah Moore says Sammy Biswell is always trying to be Super Sam '. Who knows........? Most students are tak- ing health just for the credit. But, think about it. Health is fun. You learn about drugs and al- cohol and how they af- fect your body, ways to say no to come ons by your boyfriend girlfriend or to strangers. How where else can you learn such interesting things as these? When asked what she liked about Health, Shelly Smith says, I like how you can say what you feel and not look stupid. What could these great athletes possibly be afraid of? Tammi Mcgaughy and Cheryl Pratt still smile after that HARD WORKOUT in P.E.I

Learning CPR is a major accom- plishment for many of the stu- dents at Lincoln. Michelle Pin- kerton watches attentively while Scott Meyer seems to be admiring something else. Robin Scott doesn't look as ready as Jerri Mudson. Susanna Leming. and Janie Cosper.

The Art Of Singing Is Choir Catch A Rising Star! Art and Choir are a very important part of Lincoln Schools, these two classes are definitely for the talented' people here at Lincoln. In Art you can learn everything from drawing trees to constructing graphic de- signs. Shelly Luna says her favorite projects in Art are pastel drawings. Chris Fashing says says he enjoys the challenge that comes with draw- ings. Chorus is getting a bunch of girls in one room and trying to get them to sing instead of gossip. Flow that IS an art. Choir is only for those dedicated to the Art of singing. The Choir went to many contests this year and came out sing- ing. Latona Maples en- joyed going to contest and competing against all of the other schools. Kim Stewart said, I en- joy having all of my friends in Choir, and singing.” ' Look what I made Mom.'' Alvie s hair is definitely a work of art. Latona Maples patiently awaits her turn to perform. 14
