School Board Members, I. to r. Jack Norton, Pres., Bob Munyon, Bill Bush, Jr., Roger Pitts, and Carole Swope. ; School Board Works Hard To Make LHS a Better School Our School Board has been working hard this year for the betterment of our school. The thing that is noticeable is the football field. They have provided us with new bleachers, a very nice pressbox, scoreclock, etc. They have also repaired the Agri. building and put a fence around the tennis courts. In education they have helped our school receive the NCA accreditation. We also have a full-time assistant principal and more classroom teachers. They have also provided us with new equipment in many departments, new buses, and much more. We would like to thank them very much for their help. Vice-Principal Our new vice-principal is Mr. Donald Watkins. For the past six years he had taught at Concord, Arkansas. There he taught business, social studies, and coached football. Mr. Watkins and his wife, Beverly, moved to Lincoln at the beginning of the school year. Although faced with the often difficult job of vice-principal, Mr. Watkins indicated that he likes it here in Lincoln. Mr. Watkins has a Bachelor Degree from U of A at Monlicello, a Master's Degree from Arkansas State University, and is presently working on his Specialist Degree. A 5
