One of the many civic-minded activities planned by Don Parmenter and his Board of Control was Boys' Club Week, which this year was centered on a mili- tary theme. Representatives of each branch of the armed services were present to provide information for curious Lynxville. Climaxing the week's events were an all-school assembly in which Mayor Gordon S. Mike Birdsall was Lincoln's representative in Germany. The main activities ot Dulinex tor the year were money- making. The annual Spaghetti Feast was held in January. The sale ot shares was especially successful. Those roll rooms which had 100 per cent on sales were rewarded with a cake on lorg Schatz Day. Also held on this celebration day was a cake-walk in the girls' gym, and an assembly. Other projects were a theater party and a dance. .A I ..,.
