Besides choosing the colors for and the name of each dance, this group made and put up the decorations. Publicity Committee-Publicity for all Girls' Club events was handledlbyv Merri Beth Nelson and her Publicity Committee. They publicized the Girls Club parties, the Girls' Club Conference, and other projects such as the Carmel Apple Sale held in October. Standards Committee- Don't Be the Victim of a Locker Snooper was the theme for the Locker Drive sponsored by Roberta Laiti's Standard Committee. Black silhouettes of Sherlock Homes were placed on the unlocked lockers. The Creed Drive and the Middy Drive were activities of the Committee. Tea Service -Tea Service Committee handles the serving at all Girls' Club functions and also many of those of the P-TA. The committee's main task this year was serving at the Girls' Club Conference. Kay McKay and Dorit Adolph were co-chairmen of the committee. L.S. A.-The Lincoln Sophomore Auxiliary, organized to promote school spirit and friendships, had a busy year under the leadership of Patty Berg, president. Helping at the Miniature Conference, decorating the halls at Christmas and selling pom-poms were among their activities. Minute Girls-The minute girls, composed of roll representatives to Girls' Club, played an important role in publicizing all Girls' Club events. Publicizing Girls' Club Week, Around the World in Seven Days, was their main project. Personality Committee-Personality Committee members, along with their chairman, Diane Paradie, participated in many of the Girls' Club activities. These girls took part in assemblies, sold carmel apples, and assisted with the Mother and Daughter Tea.

Such projects as hem- ming diapers for the Red Cross and making joke books for rest homes were among the activities of this group. Party Committee-This committee, with Vicki Jensen and Sharon Wood as co-chairmen, had a busy year planning the themes, decorations and entertainment for all Girlsf Club parties. The first party, held in the fall, was to help new girls get acquainted. Parties at Halloween and Christmas, and a Valentine party were also included in the year's fun.
