1 1 x Thomas Fuller, a great American spokesman, once said, That which is bitter to endure may be sweet to remember. In presenting the Tiger's Paw, we are trying to instill in the minds of all Lincolnites the pride, spirit, and fulfillment the year has brought. It is our desire to bring out the entirety of Lincoln. Hoping that this book will serve not only as a momentum to the seniors but also as hours of enjoyment to every- one, the staff has endeavored to capture many moments of excitement. August 1970 was the beginning of a great and challenging year for the seniors. They had their work cut out for themg yet, all work and no play make seniors dull people. Although there was fun, there was a great deal of sadness, because this was to be the last year we encountered these doorsteps. The year for the sophomores brought about a most devastating experience. As for the juniors, they tended to stretch their academic abilities, in other words, they did preparatory work for the following year. 1 . As everyone looks so brightly to tomorrow, we must remember that Y- E-S-T-E-R D-A-Y was full of that old Tiger S-P-I- R-I-T, and it helped to prepare us for tomorrow.
