Senior Girl Leaders The Junior High Girls' Leaders Club consists of eighth and ninth grade girls. They sponsor the morning intramurals for girls and boys on alternate Thurs- days. The purpose ot' the Girls' Leaders Club is to train girls in qualities of sportsmanship, leadership, and to train them to assist in the girls' gym classes whenever necessary. The club sponsors intramural basketball in the fall and volleyball in the winter. The club also sponsors 'lfaculty nights for the teach- ers and members of the club. By doing this the teachers become better ac- quainted with the students. This club has been Very successful and has been an accessory to the school. Toneie, li. Moll, I.. lflveryone has noticed at one time or another the Patrols, who are the policemen of our high school. They are the senior boys and girls selected by the teachers to keep order in the halls. The Patrols are divided into two groups, which alternate each semester. They are posted out- side of almost every room in the school to keep the traffic going the right way and to assist new students in finding their rooms. We are indeed grateful to our efficient Patrols, for without them the school would he a constant jumble and confusion.

The Boys' Leaders are picked for their abilities in athletics. They are chosen by the old members. They have various activities in which they participate. They have such things as faculty nights, trips to Pittsburgh for football and bas- ketball games, assisting the gym instructor, scoring and timing bas- ketball intramurals, Girls' Lead- ers Club night, helping the faculty manager With work during basket- ball and football seasons, and sponsoring the boys' basketball in- tramurals during the evening. BoY's Leaders Club The Girls' Volleyball League is com- prised of teams of girls from Midland, Chester, Newell, and East Liverpool High Schools. The Midland team is a group of girls selected by Miss Eugenia O'Hara, Girls' Physical Education teach- er. Games are played in the Y. M. C. A. at East Liverpool.
