FGREWORD As we look back on the last few years, we can clearly see that we have been t'Clin1bing the ladder, step by stepf' The faculty has aided much to our great climb, We have found unknown ways to many xeniths through their guidance. Teachers have inspired us in so many ways. direct and in- direct, that they are permanently placed at the beginning of our ladder. Our classes presented us with the learning of foreign tongues. mathematical equations. memorable history events. and the English composition. As soon as we attained the prin- ciples of these, we sought for additional cul- ture. Some of us falteredg others gained recog- nition. Thus we continued to climb the ladder of education. There were activities. too. that meant something to each person. They offered to us cooperation. kindness, loyalty to our fellow students, and all those qualities which were helpful to our own personal interests. This was our first rung on the ladder of social life. Some of our desired goals were reached in sports. The fumble, the uncompleted pass. and the penaltiesfboth in football and basketball -served only to urge us to try harder. Wve then stepped higher on the ladder of sports- manship. Yes. in school we haye climbed many lad- ders, step by step. Some were insignificantg others. outstanding. Nvhile some of us will end our quest now. a few of us will continue our great climb throughout life. In looking back we realize that we could not have reached a single rung of any ladder if it was not for the school life that has taught us the hopes. joys. sorrows. and problems which will face us throughout life. We shall always remember our school days as the biggest rung of life's great ladder. for they have determined the kind of life each one of us shall lead.
