Many sports have been tried and they all proved to be very interesting. Some of the outstanding ones were: Basketball, baseball, track, and archery. Marching and excercises have also been encouraged. A girls' basket ball team was organized this year. We played only one competitive game, which was very exciting, especially for Lincoln as she won over Pleasant Grove. C12-83. A track team was also organized, it too, was a success. The girls took all five first places in the district track meet, and won more points than any other school present at the Invitational Track meet. Archery, a new and interesting sport was introduced into the school this year, it was accepted with the greatest of enthusiasm. By consistant practice we were able to enter the event at the Invitational meet at Provo, where Vera Conder was successful in taking first place and Cleo Jorgen- sen third. The bright spot in the physical education work was made by Vera Conder. Her interest in the work together with her ability to do made possible our victories.
