President George Boyce ................... g--- Vice-President I-Iarlo Clayton ..........-........... Sec. and Treas. S our name indicates we compose an organization whose aim is to up- hold the vocation of farming and seek to increase the joys and profits of agriculture. We have about eighty boys enrolled in our department this year study- ing to increase their knowledge and skills pertaining to farm life. Last fall we staged our annual Ag. Club Ball and were fortunate in clearing a neat sum to be added to our summer vacation fund. In our department We now have about 5,000 state and government bulletins indexed for class use. We have added also several upeto-date reference books to our Ag. library. Clyde Holdawayjwith his last summer project was awarded the gold medal in the sweep stakes class for the most outstanding project conduct- ed in Utah for 1928. Reed Buckner was awarded the bronze medal for his fruit project. While our stock judging team failed to capture any prize money given, neither did we place anywhere near the bottom. Our score ran in the top half of the contestants. We feel that under the cap-able direction of our teacher Mr. C. I-I. Davie-s, the Future Farmers are preparing themselves to gain a living from the soil. We sincerely appreciate the efforts of all who are helping us to raise the standards of agricultural practices and rural life. 2 3 I I ' 'Z 0 03360303020 Q'Z0M0o030Z03030303Q3030 330 030203603 0 ' 20 I PAGE SIXTY-ONE 0 Qs 0 oo 0 0 O ? o 4 0 00 09 O0 00 obo .Q 2 Q45 6 Q Q oo o'o O0 O 00 0 ,ig O 00 O 9 O Q oo I 0, o 0 0 Q go o'o 235 O ' 2 O l?
