The annual Freshman party went over with a bang , and the enthu- siasm demonstrated at that party carried on throughout the school year. Soon after the freshman party the girls of the class waxed ambitious and put on a gay, colorful operetta entitled Ghosts of Hilo . This was a decided hit . Our officers, President Wesley Soulier, Vice-President Velma Adams, and Secretary-Treasurer Lena Baum are the best that could be had. They have held the Freshmen together, and it was their splendid idea that we present to the high school a large framed picture of Abraham Lincoln, on the 120th anniversary of the birth of this great man.
