WE WILL REMEMBER! We dedicate this page to the memory of Mr. Charles H. Kuehnle whose death on April 15, 1952 brought deep sorrow to the students and faculty of our school. ' Mr. Kuehnle had been a teacher of biology and physiology at Lincoln since it first opened. Before that, he had taught bookkeeping at old Central High School. Since l943, he had been school treasurer, capably handling all school finances and ticket sales. At one time he was the auditor of a teacher's loan organization, and for many years had kept alive the Canton Neo- Naturalists Club. Mr. Kuehnle was a great friend to all the teachers. He was always dependable and coopera- tive. Few of us realized how much of his time was devoted to the general welfare of our school and to the individual problems of its students. He often stayed after school, either working in the treasurer's office or helping some physiology student with an experiment. Since his deepest interest and greatest pleasure was his work we feel that: He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of intelligent men, the trust of pure women and the love of little children, who has filled his niche and accomplished his task, who has left the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem or a rescued soul, who has never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it, who has looked for the best in others and given them the best he had, whose life was an inspiration, whose memory is a benediction.
