Cheerleaders With the ambition to set the emotions of the crowd into excitement and spirit, the six Junior Varsity Cheer- leaders showed continuous enthusiasm at all basketball games. They were chosen at the beginning of the year so that the sophomores would also have a chance to be on the squad. Many hours were spent after school work- ing on better performance and appearance. Being only the second group of J .V. Cheerleaders to come out of Lincoln, it was hard for them to get people to support them.
