Change is a constant theme in our school. The plant, the curriculum, the faculty and the admin- istration, and the student body each will demon- strate this change. In 1967-68 Lincoln High School began an extensive renovation of the physical plant which would ultimately affect faculty, curriculum, and the style', of the Lincoln student. We have not tried to remark on all changes but in introducing four-color photography as a Lin- colnian feature We thought best to select three changed areas which most Abes will recall as dis- tinctive in 1967-68. The lounge appeared as a change from a dingy, crowded, girls' locker room to a place which gave Abes an opportunity for unsupervised study, casual conversation, and for getting togetheri' with class- mates. As the year progressed the availability of a battery of vending machines increased popularity of this area. By yearis end it appeared that the necessarily regimented study-hall had given way to a self-disciplined lounge',.
