Smith. ime Well peut Prepares Grads Future Having divided their time between studies and various school activities, and making the most of their senior year, the class of '57 leaves Lincoln anticipating a bright future. They shall use the knowledge and experif ence they have gained in jobs of their choice, or furthering their education and training in various fields. Included in the se' niors' numerous activif ties was the senior class play, January Thaw, presented on April ll and 12, which proved to be a gratifying expef rience for the cast as well as all others who took part in making it a success. Months of planning and preparation lent an exciting air to the longftofhefrememhered sef nior ball, entitled Eantasial' and held in the Crystal Ballroom of the Winthrop Hotel. Ordering pictures, school rings, and selectf ing announcements to be used for the classes of 557, '58 and '59 made seniors realize that the time was passing and soon it would he time for commencement exercises and the finale. Leading the grads in these activities were: Ed Phenicie, president: Reed Cooper, vice presf identg Eunice Smth, secretary: Judy ploy, treasurerg and Betty Peart and lim Estes, relpresentativefs to ccgunf i Cf Senior ohficers measure for cap and gown. 15
