eac elers ive Time Generously To Eclucatep Also Serve A Jes As Extra Curricular Advisors 'LTime, the greatest educator. But how well educated would we be if it weren't for Time's timely assistants, our teachers? Administering advice and counseling over 2100 Abes is just part of the faculty's enormous job. Since no one from the principal on down is ever too busy to lend a hand, a Lincoln student can count on real help when he is confronted with a problem. lt is largely due to the faculty's concerted efforts that a Lincolnite is more than just a high school gradf uate when he or she leaves Lincoln. He has also learned the full value of time and how wfre usage can mold his life into that of an honorable ctizcn in society. Teachers take a special interest in the rtudent's welfare. After school hours they often give freely of their time helping students who have difficulties, if the student will but avail himself of this opportunity. TAKE TIME TO WORK ., . . The close relationship between the students and teachers has brought about great accomplishments such at the Lincoln Exchange Program, for it is only with the cooperation of both that such a program has been made possible. lt is known that Lincoln is a democratic school. Most of the credit goes to the instructors where one' ness and a desire to help others to learn exists. Faculty members also serve as advisers for extra' curricular activities. The many clubs at Lincoln def inand thoughtful and congenial advisers, and the faculty gives willingly of its tfme. Chaperoning school dances is another service that they render for the stuf dents' benefit and pleasure. As well as giving time for students, faculty mem' bers also participate in several staff social functions, such as the Christmas Tea and the traditional endfoff thefyear banquet. s fAe Price o success lialliarine Bernard Social Science Physical Education Dept. Now as you leave, the impression you have left upon Lincoln and the impression Lincoln has left upon you should be foremost in your minds. For the past three years you have been trained and advised in the field of your choice by competent teachers and advisers. Realizing that each of you have had problems which have seemed insurmountable, we have tried during your stay at Lincoln to help you with them. Surely the problems you have had in high school are just as important to you as those you will have later on in life. With school work and all the extrafcurricular ac' tivities of school and home, you who have learned to budget your time have a great gift, the gift of an edu' cation which is the one possession you cannot lose. Devoting many hours in helping Lincoln students is vicefprincipal William B. Hardie. Although time is the wisest counselor, Mr. Hardie runs a close second. With all the time and patience he gives to students, they are confident of receiving valuable advice toward solving their various problems. During the semester rush while Lincolnites are choosing their coming programs, Mr. Hardie is hard at work juggling teachers' subjects and classrooms to meet the demand of over 2,000 Abes. A familiar sight at all school sport functions, Lin' coln's Veep insures fair play and good sportsmanf ship that characterize the spirit of Lincoln. Gaining satisfaction and pride from a job well done, Mr. Hardie hopes that by relieving students of burdens, he has also helped them to enjoy the Time of Their Lives. 'S
