Three years ago, these superior upperclassmen, not realizing the honors they were to receive at Lincoln, were vvidefeyed sophomores entering the portals of this institution. As the result of hard studying and level thinking, these graduates have experienced a feeling of triumph and accomplishment in having their names on the high school honor roll from their sophomore to senior year. l N VJ ith a deep sense of satisfaction, these seniors look back and recall all the obstacles which they en' countered and surmounted during their high school career. ln addition these students have been the school leaders and have participated in student affairs and have been active members in social and athletic actif vities. To the honor graduates of 195 6, the students and faculty of Lincoln High School extend congratulaf tions and best Wishes for happiness and success in life.

Seniors shall long remember the numerous activities during the year. Taking part in the senior class play, L'The Remarkable Incident at Carson Corners, was a thrill to look back upon with pleasure, along with the cast party that followed the March 9 performance. The senior ball, entitled Memories, was held excluf sively for seniors because of the crowded conditions in the past and was conf sidered a fitting climax to high school dances. Seniors looked with anticipation toward the Se' nior Brunch, held May 16. lt's motif was Bow quet in May. Ordering pictures, announcements, and the ref cently approved school ring made seniors realize that the senior assembly, commence' ment exercises, and finale would soon arrive. Leading seniors in these ac' tivities were the senior oificers: Roy Cummings, presidentg Jim Hoard, vicefpresidentg Janice Fisher, secretary, Bill Glover, treasurer, and joe Devish, rep' resentative to council.
