Their program Tor The year included sTudy classes, a ChrisTmas ParTy, and The annual I3ounder's Day Program. Combined wiTh This IaTTer evenT was an evening in commemoraTion oT Lincoln I-Iigh School's TwenTy-TirsT anniversary. Mr. AITred LisTer, Tormer secreTary oT The Tacoma Board oT School DirecTors, delivered an address enTiTled Building Lincoln I-Iigh School. Mrs. E. D. Nichols, NaTionaI Chairman oT I-Iumane EducaTion, spolce on Founder's Day. Music Tor The evening was Turnished by LincoIn's orchesTra and by Lin- coln I-Iigh Alumni. A group oT ThirTy sTudenTs acTing as guides escorTed our moThers, TaTh- ers, and Triends on a Tour Through The building. The TirsT poinT To be visiTed was The caTeTeria where everybody received reTreshmenTs pre- pared by members oT The Toods classes. From There They wenT imme- diaTeIy To The oITice where The public address sysTem was demonsTraTed. From here The visiTors progressed ThroughouT The building. Displays were shown in The various deparTmenTs oT The school, and an acrobaTic show was presenTed in The boys' gymnasium. Following The Tour, par- enTs and Triends were Taken To The audiTorium where a band concerT and sTyIe show were presenTed. The aTTair was planned by The Teachers in order To give every parenT The opporTuniTy oT meeTing Their chiIdren's insTrucTors. 'IISI
