FRONT ROW: Mr. Thompson, sponsor, Beth Cole, jennifer Gorsuch, Cathy Walters, and Melodee Cromwell. HRDS ,Env Student Council has added more than its share of work in making this a successful year. During football season Stuco put a proud display of our mascot, the Leopard, on the press box at the football field. This built up L.l-I. S. pride and spirit. Another important project still underway is the precise planning of a student lounge for next year. Although this years' seniors in Stuco will gain nothing from all their work in this project, they are improving L.H for fumre students. .S Each year Student Council sponsors a number of special assemblies. One of these assemblies was a personal ac- count of life behind the Iron Curtain. Mel Jennings, a former Army Chaplain and Photographer, told of his experiences in Russia. The other assembly was a presentation of yoga by Ed Schetter from DePere, Wisconsin. The officers were: Mark Zier, president, Vaudene Howell, vice-president, Melodee Cromwell, secretary- treasurer. Student Council has indeed shown its worth and merit through its build-up of school pride not only for this year but also for those to come.
