Gymnastics He ,glides through the air with the greatest . . . Who glides through the air? Certainly this is no ques- tion which would ever enter the mind of a Lincolnite. This song was written as a description of our gym team. Daring, muscular, and perfectly co-ordinated, this group of Adonises won the public league cham- pionship every year of our high school career. In addi- tion to displays of strength for Philadelphians, our gym team received high commendation upon their annual performance at West Point. Under the direction of Coach Phil Schneider the team made the most difficult feats seem as easy as a simple exercise. Ropes, rings, horses, and mats were showcases for the skills of our gymnasts. l He flies through the air . . .
