I was almost finished the whole exercise, and now I have to start all over again for one miserable mistake! This was the familiar noise and heart-rending cry issuing forth from certain corridors of the school building. Here was the realm of the commercial students, where they worked their way through junior business training and on to clerical practice. Suddenly they found themselves feeling quite capable with typing shorthand and sometimes bookkeeping As seniors transcription and senior office practice were the vogue and the students were to be seen gazing at ceilings thinking in terms of shorthand symbols and typewritten business letters After graduation these pupils will scatter to many different walks of life Some will pursue higher education at business schools Others may seek jobs in private oflices banks or other businesses S Weiss Dept Head First Rau L Graf XI ONe1ll N1 Gaynor S Abrams E Kravitz V Slumpo S Klein Second Hou L Alleman R Cohen R Petterolf M Sher I Abrams Third Rau S Weiss C lentner F Hess 17 ,A !
