The Railsplitters, which won the city championship by defeating Father Judge High, was one of the most colorful teams in public league history. Two seniors, Eric Faddis and Joe Fabrizio, Iniielder Dick Constable 45 were chosen the most valuable players in the city championship game for their spectacular play in this contest. Watching a Lincoln baseball game was a great thrill because of the potential of the Railsplitters. Even when behind, they were always threatening to tie and then go on to win the tilt. as-ss'q Nw ,AK I ,. I E . , 1 Q, i i ' i 1 U X . , fillilf' ffgl J xxX'v-,. lg illmxfi 'WGN ' e Wifi.
