Publicity Seniors in Publicity Club are D. Geist, W. Ammuth, C. Auerswald, H. Coren, L. Verna, S. Klein, hir. Abrams, Sponsor, M. Byer, and J. Snnkey Do you remember those attention- catching witticisms that frequently were heard over the public address system? It was Lincoln,s Publicity Club which was responsible for those commercials and announcements. This club was organized by Mr. Abrams in order to make students Lincoln High School conscious. 0 W orld A.fl31fS lub The aspirations of nations was the sphere of our interest. Our eyes, first opening to the problems of the world, were guided to the understanding of mo- mentous events by the World Affairs Club. We watched together what future generations will study as history. Seniors in World Affairs Club are M. Gottfried,D. Klein, D. Hirs4 d P. Lovell 3D Club an Underclass members of the 3 D Club 34 The members of the 3-D Club produced some very interesting modern and uncon- ventional art pieces. The work ranged from ceramics and sculpture to wood- work. Each member worked on his.own project whenever he had the time, since there was no specific meeting time.

Calhoun For most of us mathematics was a puzzle, but for many, that puzzle was' an enjoyable challenge. Operation ltlath opened the field of higher mathematics to our curious intellects. 30-60-90 Club iv 94 Q Mr. Steinberg and Mr. Ashler with 30-60-90 Club members The Senior Art Club, under the direc- tion of Mr. Goldman, was one of the vital, though little known organs of Lin- coln. VVe met fascinating speakers from every branch of engineer- ing. On our visits to l'hiladelphia's indus- tries we were spellbound by what we learned of American ingenuity in tech- nology.

Spanish Club Seniors in the club were S. Blarcoviteh, seated between Mrs. Sand- strcnn and Mrs. tlokliale, NI. llotfman, XI. Gottfried, ll. Stein, and N lYe spoke French with accents slightly laborious in French Club, but in a French song no accent can dampen enthusiasm. lYe felt the delicate touch of French cul- ture as we studied this foreign, but now familiar country. C'est bon, n'est-ce pas? Buenos dias, amigos! The Spanish Club has been a boon to the many interested Spanish students at Lincoln. Our foreign language fans have created colorful assembly programs, international motif showcases, and multi-lingual mag- azines to carry out the ideas of this club. French Club Seated: B. Barker, V. Koch ltlany members of our graduating class have enjoyed the varied and interesting program offered by the German Club. Through trips, discussions, and games, Lincolnites have improved their conver- sational proficiency in this language as well as having gained a growing knowl- edge of German culture.
