Color Guard Lincoln's Color Guard was composed of eight regular members and two sub- stitutes. The Color Guard appears in all special assembly programs, at football games, at parades and public occasions in which Lincoln is represented. 'l'here is no speeial requirement for membership other than a desire to be of service to the school. Lincolnaires I ZKCHPE hlr. B. Rondinelli, Nl. Gluck, R. Vveiner Lending spice and vivacity to the music of the band were the lllajorettes. They performed at football games, the jambor- ees, at Schools on Parade, and at all the functions of which the band was a part. Theirs was the beauty of form, the beauty ol' precision. They complemented the band as a fine pianist complements a great. violinist. lVe shall never remember one without, remembering the other. They played Sing Sing Sing and everybody did. The swinging music of tl1e Lincolnaircs will always be remembered by the students who daneed to it. From the bitter-sweet ballads to the red hot and cool jazz, the Lincolnaires offered the music everybody liked most. lllusie for the Sophomore Hop, the Basketball Bounces, and the Pigskin Hops was provided by the Lineolnaires, under the direction of Mr. Bruno liondinclli. ajorettes
