Mr. Polidor handled lhe boys in lhe .running and lield evenls, while Mr. Nelson handled lhe hurdle and long dislance runners. One ol lhe oulslanding members ol lhe leam was co-caplain Rod Roberlson, who caplured lhe Eriars Senior Sociely One Mile Run, as well as many mile and hall-mile races. Seniors on lhe squad were: Roberl Evans lco-caplainl, Roberl Halerl, Larry Kenney, Ed Marlin, Arlhur Miller, Ron Miller, Erank Washick, Richard While, William Wil- son, and Andrew Yoder. s .-.. . . .As - The cross counlry leam, under lhe coaching ol Mr. Harry Nelson showed a big improvemenl over lhe leams ol previous years. The oulslanding member ol lhe leam was Co-Caplain Rod Roberlson, who nol only was undelealed all season, bul who won lhe Philadelphia Public High School Indi- vidual Crown.
