orewor j We present to you the 1948 volume of the Lincolnian, In these pages we have attempted to bring to our readers, with a few changes from presentations of years gone by, a pictorial summary of life at Lincoln High. Because of most regrettable circumstances, pictures of our band and of our ROTC were omitted from this volume. We are extremely proud of both these organizations and thus are indeed sorry about this mischance. It is our sincere hope, however, that this book will always bring happy memories to stu- dents, graduates, and faculty members.
