Class Officers Guide Student Activities AST YEAR as sophomores the Class of '52 won first place on the Homecoming float and also sponsored the sophomore-freshman dance. This year it headed the school enroll- ment with 408 students, 217 boys and 191 girls. Again it won first place in the Homecoming skit and also the float. The junior class dance fea- tured as the theme, The Iunior Round-Up . George Washington Slept Here was the class play. Sea-shells, mermaids, and other watery objects decorated the gym for the lunior Prom, NEPTUNES NOCTURNE. Leading the class in these activities are, first row, left to right, Grace Harlow, treasurer: Ioan Muehlberg, sec- retary: second row, Ion Dalton, president: Iames Her- man, vice-president. HE SENlOR CLASS start- ed as sophomores with 377 members. At the end of the first semester this year there were 339 seniors, Bet- ty Place was elected Home: coming Queen and chose Chuck Holly to reign with her over the parade, game, and dance on October 21. On December 9, under the general supervision of Gary Suhr, the gym became a Fantasy in Frost for the senior class dance. The senior class play was Seve enteenth Summer wi th loan Schuette and lohn Dramni playing the leading roles. HERE WERE 390 sophomores in the 1950- 1951 class at Lincoln, The election of the Rasmussen boys marked the first time that two brothers were elected into office for the same class, The sophomore class float placed second and the skit third in the Homecoming festivities. A short skit entitled Courtesy in School was presented by the class in accordance with Nat- ional Courtesy week, The class dance was held on April 27. As is the annual custom the freshmen were the guests. Officers are. first row. left to right.
