B. REX K. IOHN has been principal ot Lincoln since 1947. He was a teacher here for twenty years. He was assistant principal tor fourteen years, and was prin- cipal of Woodrow Wilson tor five years. Mr. lohn has a B.A. degree from Otterbein College, and an MA. degree from Northwestern University. Mr. Buiin Boyd, assistant principal, was graduated from Lincoln in 1921. He received his BA., BM., and MA, de- grees trom the University ot Wisconsin. He is dean ot boys and also teaches the music appreciation class. Mr. Edwin Erickson, guidance director, assists students in getting jobs. He is co-sponsor of National Honor Society, head oi the science department, teaches two chemistry classes, and directs the activities of the Student Council. He received his BA. degree from Northland College and fi., rludf' Mr. Ruiin W. Boyd an MA. degree from Northwestern University. Miss Erances Bitchie, dean oi girls, is head of GAA and also teaches girls physical education classes. He is direc- tor ot the Wisconsin Association School Administration and a member of the Yearbook Committee ot the Ameri- can Association ot School Administration. Mr. Rothwell has a BE. degree from the State Teachers College at Superior, an M.A. degree from Columbia University, and an honorary degree from Lawrence College. Mr. Walter lens is president of the Board of Education, Gerhardt Kubitz, vice-presidentg and Vera Dueno, secre- tary. Every board member is also a member ot at least two committees. They do not receive any salary for their services. Mr. Francis Bugowslci has not been absent from a meeting in 21 years.
