It explains every phase of activity in a very simple and easy to un- derstand manner. Miss Rudolph supervised her staff ol students which were selected from the sopho- more, junior, and senior classes. Having no special period to work during school time, the staff com- piled its book outside ot those hours. The HANDBOOK is published biennially. W-if Wiamlfaa STRICTLY LITERARY OR THE first time since 1933 the MANITOU staff has published two issues of their magazine during one school year. As usual, prizes were awarded for the best literary papers written by the students themselves that were published in the first issue. The second issue contained papers selected from a new group of entries for which no prizes were awarded. Kathleen Busse, editor, and her staff put in many diligent hours, here at school and out of school, which produced two excellent literary magazines. Upper left, left to right. LIGHTS, CAMERA, atcha Above. left to right, Mr. Frank Novitski, Miss Icmet Strathearn, Mrs. Francis Seitz. dramatic coaches. ITH A CAST of twenty characters, the senior class produced with great success Love Your Neighbor , a farce-comedy in three acts. The play was hilariously packed with laughs and wisecracks. The story of the play revolved around a family and their small troubles, which to them were as big as moun- tains. Father had trouble finding his shoes, Wingy, the son, didn't have any place to practice his tuba les- sons, Tessie, the daughter, had love problems, and the twins, Dora and Flora, couldn't seem to agree on anything. All in all it was quite a mix-up! Giving credit where credit is due, Mr. Novitski, director of all our high school productions, along with his assistants, Miss Strathearn and Mrs. Seitz, has done wonders with the students fitting them into character and producing hits.
