We dreamed ot a white Christmas and got it, plus all the other fun of the holidays. At the top of the list ot par- ties and dances were the CYO and DeMolay formals. Don, Carolyn, lean, Elwood, lim, and lanet pause to sip punch at the DeMolay tor- mal waiting for the band to strike up another number. The gang at the Midsemes- ter dance celebrated the midway mark ot the school year. We'd say that we had spring fever-we can't wait to get out of school to ride around with the windows open, feeling the warm breeze like jack and the boys. It's alm 'Way back in 1944 when we came to Lincoln, graduation seemed such a long way off. We were sophomores then, just getting into the swing of things, but in our junior year, we were right in the middle of everything with our first class play and at the end of the year our own carnival Prom with Margie and Ashie reigning as our king and queen. In our senior year we were busier still. Class play, Flashes, Manitou, Flambeau, and Operetta were just a few of our accornplishrnents. We have spent Huee years at Lincoln - three wonderful years, filled with work and fun. Now all that's left is graduation with the strains of Aida and taps playing from the tower. Spring has also hit the newly elected cheerleaders. Bev, jeannette, joanne, Suzanne, Pudgie, and Don relax before starting their cheering careers. ost over now. C101
